| You could always try to pneu-assist it, then you'll have like a 1/16" pump stroke.
I believe he was referring to the pump arm being made of the same pot metal the stock Sheridan frame is, which won't hold anno because it's a ghetto-alloy. I'm pretty sure the pump are is just aluminum though, so you could anno or powdercoat if you like. The pump rod is steel and can't be anodized. You could try buying some brass threaded rod off McMaster-Carr, but I'm pretty sure you'd need to go up a couple diameters to keep it from bending when you pumped. |
