| The ROTC student getting harassed for taking a drill gun across campus makes me laugh, because it makes me think of other things I've seen ROTC students roll across a college campus.
Locally, the ROTC guys have a cannon they fire off at football games when the home team scores a touchdown. The stadium has been under some major upgrade contruction for the better part of a year, and the ROTC quarters were in a part of the stadium that is under upgrades.
I happened to be on campus during the afternoon last fall, and much to my amusement, the ROTC crew was rolling their cannon across the quad, heading to the stadium.
