| I don't see how a micro encapsulated pesticide would work since systemic pesticides don't kill on contact. They have to be ingested to work properly. Also, systemic pesticides actually are absorbed into plant tissue making firing them from a paintball gun ineffective. Even if your shooting them high into the tree tops where normal J-D9's cant reach, the wind will make them as useless as normal applications. My guess is they have them micro encapsulated so they can put them in areas that aren't treated as often and let the water/rain break down the shell giving longer lasting effectiveness in less monitored areas. |
