| the forward 2 holes are the grip frame screw holes. like you said that 3rd hole is there for beavertails and sometimes holding the ivg in place. on '98 and newer cockers (like your carnie) that hole is threaded so you can install a beaver tail. because most (all?) ccm frames have built in beaver tails the ccm guys covere that 3rd hole with their frames. you are probably gonna have to mill down or cut off *gasp* part of the ccm gripframe in order to do what you are planning. |
