| I own an SS-25 (not an s6, I know, but it's still a sweet CCM shooter) and a Pyre and I highly prefer my pyre.
The thing is that with a good return spring, the pyre is just as smooth as the s-6. SMOOTHER, I'd say, and it has AT to match the CCM's. As in, smooth AT. It's not as FAST as the s6, but these are PUMPS we're talking about for crying out loud.
The Pyre has size on the s6. It's far more compact than the s6. You also have your choice of LF, RF, or CF. You also have a built-in reg, so you can run a small tank off the vertical. You can't with an s6.
Basically, what I see the s6 as having over the Pyre is speed of pumping, weight, and looks. On the other factors though, the Pyre has the s6 beat or dead even.
I'd say that unless you're going to be doing really fast AT shooting, then go with the Pyre. But if you're going to be seriously rocking the AT, then maybe consider the s6.
