| Markers that are sprung lightly are less efficent... I have yet to do an efficiency test on my Pyre, or to tell you the truth, my S6.
I noticed that my S6 was considerably better than my factory S5 (before I palmerized it).
If efficiency is your main concern, you can certainly add a stiffer valve and hammer spring to either marker. If a buttery-smooth pump stroke is your main concern, either stock will do!
Now don't get me wrong, it's not like they give gas away, and I did notice that my Pyre was pretty efficient, but I can't give any real numbers right now.
If you want a left-feed or right-feed then the S6 is out of the question, the S5 however is not.
Either way you win bud, enjoy shooting ropes, or plinking with whichever you decide.
