Well, both setups will give you the same desirable results, so the only difference between them is the feel of the marker. If you like the front grip, then the option you might prefer would be to put a female reg and use it as your bottomline. But, you will not be able to use the female stab with the Lapco stock that you linked. You could look into other stocks, or you could take another approach.
You should look into a Palmers Direct Stabilizer. They are the same as a male, but instead of ASA threads on the top output, they have 1/8" NPT threads, the same as in your valve. This stab would just screw into your valve but would require some modification to the receivers of the gun so the stab can get up and into the valve. Another similar option is to use a Palmers ASA Adapter and mod that up into your valve and then you can use a male stabilizer with it. These last two options will put the reg in between the trigger guard and the front grip, where your air line enters the valve now.
