I honestly think, like I said before, that this is a user inflicted thing. DXS has to test their regs to exceed the pressure. They don't use ****ty metal, it's actually a good reg. They are just longer than most. I have a dxs tank as well but like said before, you don't hear about this happening in the US. The dxs reg has both burst disk (the hp and lp one) so once again, I don't think it was "exploded", I think that the dumbass locktited it in the like dropped it. Why do I think this? The reg isn't going to shoot off into the wall, it's the air tank that will. The reg has no real force behind it except for that slight moment when it breaks off. Also the tank was in middle of room (near dinner table .. most of us have those in the middle of a room), so I truly doubt ti had enough force behind the reg to shoot it across the room and into the wall. One more thing, If the reg saftey devices fail at all (burst disks), the gauge would have blown ... and clearly it's not. Just looks either over torqued or dropped to me.
