I have to say that after playing with the ATS CAR, a dogleg would probably be a very good thing. I had trouble quickly sighting with my mask on with my current config. I'm going to attach the ATS rail and a dinky red dot before I head out again this weekend to see if maybe that will help.

I've got an AT85 and I really like the idea of the forward loaders but they do seem a little small in terms of capacity (I'm not brave or rich enough to go with just mags) so I'm working on plans for my own DIY 'Big Loader'. I know there's a thread running on this but does anyone have their own mod cooked-up? I'm collecting candidate pods, loaders to sacrifice... has anyone seen a 'perfect pod' to chop for this task (besider the Gatorback 2)?

Anyone else with an AT-85 have problems using a sling and the forward loader? Not that I 'need' a sling considering how light the 85 is but I like to keep my hands free when not firing. The strap kept sliding down between the loader and the body whenever I'd reload.

I loved using the ATS this weekend and got some interesting feedback.. I had a kid with an shiny-electo-something come up after a couple matches and tell me "yo, your gat is sooo loud I freeze wheneva you shoot". After we were done for the day I headed over to the practice range and cut loose full auto.. next thing I knew the field manager was running up to the fence yelling "what the hell is that!".

Thanks for all the feedback. One reason I took the plunge on the ATS was the active user community.
