The TRIGGER DOES NOT DROP A SEAR. All the trigger does is actuate the 3-way valve. The hammer is tripped by a fixed sear, that is in no way connected to the trigger.
That, by definition, is a "pneumatic trigger", and there is no way around that.
Clearly this is all academic, but the Vector will always be the first example of a Pneumatic-Triggered paintball gun. I think the part that confuses people is that they took that design FARTHER by introducing a mechanical linkage that purposely fixes the dwell time to prevent shortstroking.

Thought I read a post by davidwirth that it was not a pneumatic trigger. I'm pretty sure it's possible to shortstroke a Vector, just really hard.
