| I asked the manager of a local field what he thought of the X7's since I had seem them out as rentals on a previous visit and boy did I get an earful.
Apparently, the guy had purchased 25 of them and he said that 17 had leaks and other issues in the first month alone. Told me that he returned the entire lot after less than 60 days. This from a guy who maintains some ancient, seriously used pro-lites and 98's.
I don't see myself buying another Tippmann if this is the quality level they are delivering these days.
My ATS AT-85 smokes my tricked out (expansion chamber, new bolt and power tube, polished internals, flatline) 98c on accuracy and ROF any day and leaves my buddies with A5's shaking their heads when I tag 'em from 100+ feet. |
