KP2 Palmerization Question/Thoughts

I’ve picked up an untouched side tube KP2. After scouring the Sheridan and PPS forums, I’ve decided to send it in for a performance tune, wedgits, detent and springfeed conversion. I’m not going to touch the finish, planning on duracoating it if necessary afterwards.

The only thing I’m wavering back and forth on is the 12g vs CA. I’m a little particular about aesthetics, and I don’t like the look of a fast changer sticking out in front of the barrel. My thoughts were to leave the original 12g system in place, and get Palmers to tap and plug an airline where the CA would normally be attached. Is this possible? Is there room for both? I’m assuming the 12 g paraphernalia would be removed in a normal CA conversion, but if you were to leave it in and keep an empty 12g seated, would you be able to run CA?
