With a springfeed, wouldn't a detent be a good idea? You might not have rollouts as a rock'n tilt, but with a spring forcing forcing them in there I'm worried about double feeding.

That's a great solution, invisible when you want it to be. I think I'll go with that, and get the bottom tube cut so the fast changer is flush with the front of the barrel.
