this probably won't work but it's another thought...

since the pin is caught between the two rings on the hammer(i'm assuming) why don't you try to drill a hole in the hammer between the two rings so you can then insert a punch to push the pin in to remove the bolt. the only reason this would not work is that the hammer may be hardened and make drilling impossible.
