Hurricanes are not very popular with the PPS staff. As Craig always says, "We are a metal shop and whenever you have to convert, even temporarily, a metal shop to a wood shop, it sucks."
Every few years, PPS toys with the idea of discontinuing the Hurricane from their catalog. I am fairly certain that a good sized Hurricane Mass order (setting aside the question of whether they would ever agree to that) would go a long way toward making that a reality.

If that ever comes to pass, I would hope they'd allow the option to still do the metal work for a Hurricane, with the owner being responsible for the wood aspect.
