| Internal or External?
Internally, I use a ghetto barrel refinisher I made. All it consists of is a piece of round metal (I used 3/8 SS tubing, wooden dowel will work too), a piece of 0000 (I think) steel wool, some tape to hold it together and a decent 1/2 drill (cordless or corded). Stick it down the barrel and polish away. Be fast at it will take a lot of material off quickely...
Externally, nothing beats in my mind steel wool. Can make the ugly beasts into shiny works of art quite quickely.
