| In a pinch, there is also the "no tool" method.
With tank removed, remove internals. Then remove valve set screws.
Hold rear of gun towards something soft (ie pillow, jacket), and screw in tank. This will blast the valve out of its place.
To reinstall, hold the vm pointed upwards. Balance the valve, cupseal, and spring on top of the hammer, and carefully slide upward. (position the valve before sliding).
I've done these methods many times for emergencies. But just get the 1/4" rod. You can find them at any hardware store.
