That's partially true. But just the mere act of heating a material to melting point introduces impurities and changes the alloy. And how does one decide he has a 600 series aluminum as opposed to a 800 series without a chemical analysis or a statement from the manufacturer?
Meanwhile, you're right. Once everything was profiled, there won't be a noticeable difference, regardless of alloy.
