| drg: Yes, I realize that. I was hoping that others would know I realized that, and wouldn't take it so seriously. But what's done is done, and I can't take it back.
But in all honesty, was it really that offensive? I mean, in essence, I said Asians were better than me. Was it racist? Yes. Was it used in hateful context? No. It's like saying all black people have giant, well you know, and all Jews are rich. I was hoping people would realize that no one actually believes this, or thinks any less of anyone because of these "jokes." I'm disappointed people take it so seriously, but since I did regrettably offend someone, the most I can do is offer my sincere apologies. Like I said, I do not like offending people, and I do not go out of my way to do so. I just should learn not everyone shares my sense of humor, or would be willing to take such things in stride, and as I said, I'm sorry to offend. |
