Been cutting on my Rainmaker. Couple questions.

1) My most important: how is the bolt cover block held together? I'm assuming roll pins? Anyone know where whatever it is, is in there? I don't want to run my cheap HSS end mills into something like a hardened-and-ground dowel pin on accident.

2) Anyone know how much meat I'd need to leave around the various tubes? There's plenty to cut off an RM, but I don't want to risk dinging a tube inward.
