The cable company we're speaking of is Charter, which by in large I am not impressed with. I looked on their site and couldn't find anything stating how to set the modem up or the settings they use. I tried their "online support chat" but the representative had no idea what I was talking about and just sent me in circles. Therefore, I will call Charter tomorrow and see what they have to say. I will post an update soon afterward.
