I do use Google Maps (sleeze bag ATT has an xml config file that blocks BB Maps) Actually I prefer the Google version anyway.
My 8320 has GPS built in, so I dont really use the tower triangulation anymore.
The only time I use Triangulation is when I'm playing with it inside the office and can't get a GPS fix.
Just checking it now and it seems to be working pretty well....shows me within about 1/4 mile of where I actually am.
I'm running Google Maps v 2.0.0(build 2025) on mine...haven't had any problems with it....now I'm thinking I'll avoid upgrading based on what you just told me.
What version are you running, and what broke?
(besides, I live and work in the sticks....there's only ever 1 tower for it to "triangulate" off of anyway!)
