Keep them coming....
Mine was not nearly that bad. I played a 7 hour long scenario with it and shot 500+ paintballs without a single issue. Just make sure it is tight and that the set screws on the collar are secure.

When Carter Machine gets back to me, I am going to ask if the two issues I have can be addressed. All it would take is a few extra minutes of work on the raw pieces before anno.

Keep in mind that anything from Carter blurs the line between form and function. I have a Phantom that will perform just as well as a Buzzard, but I really want a Buzzard again. Everything about it is an amazing experience. It has a beautiful pump stroke, nice crisp action, really good feel when it shoots, and it looks damn sexy.

However, keep in mind that you are paying a premium for a hand made work of art. Also understand that these are generally not guns to grab and go to a game with. My Phantom is still the only gun I trust to bring to a two day scenario without a backup. They require a checking over before play to ensure that everything on them is in good order.

In my opinion though, their looks, performance, feel, and uniqueness (relatively speaking here) make them worth the money. They are not for everyone however.
