| I was a hardcore pc gamer. Mouse + keyboard >> controller any day (especially for fps). I got a PS3 for the console RPGs that never came to PC. then I realized that I would NOT be able to make the leap to the latest generation of PC games without the $2k overhaul. So, I was kind of forced into console gaming, and though critical at first, I grew to accept it.
It's totally doable and consoles these days can make GREAT fps platforms, as well as many other kinds of games.
And I say this now being a denizen of both worlds.
