I really think people give the Tac-8 a bad rap because of the somewhat long paint change with one mag. The trick is to run with between 3 and 4 of the suckers, that way you can fall back, reload and be back in the action.
Under fire, i takes me around 5 seconds to eject a mag and refill it with paint.
Under fire, it takes me about 1 second to eject a mag and slap a new one home. With some practice, the marker stays on target too.
the stock bore is a bit big too, but it accomidates just about any paint as a result (detentes are awesome). Yes, the grip is fair bit larger than most markers, but it is a matter of getting used to it. I find that it actually centers in my hand better than my other markers (i have slightly larger than usual hands)
I know some people are going to disagree with me, but hey, it's like a stock class phantom, very nice shooters, but not for everyone.
