In regards to performance there are 2 valve types: Classic & RT(including:E-Mag, X-Valve, Retro)
The classic Valve resets the on/off with the regulated air coming from the back end of the valve. The RT Series uses the incoming tank pressure to reset the On/Off.
The result is that the RT Series pushes harder to reset the gun than the clasic, and this effect is magnified the higher your source tank pressure. As you increase the tank pressure the force of the trigger return gets higher and higher. Eventually it pushes enough that you can get a bounce effect with the trigger where if you pull just right it will basically keep firing. This is more of a side effect than a desired design criterea, IIRC.
