Amen. Last month I'm reffing a final battle and a group of about 30 is pushing on a group of 15 to get to a location the 15 are defending. One of the 30, crawling at the very front of their "line" (with the boundaries it was more like a spearpoint) gets shot, slowly gets off the ground, and starts complaining instantly about still getting shot. He stands between the two teams whining and yelling long enough for me to realize hes not moving until he finds his barrel plug (sheesh), get to him, pull him partially out of the line of fire, and put him on the ground and physically shield him with my body. He got a good rant about being aware of your surroundings, remembering what was said during the briefing about getting out of the way during heavy firefights, and the like. Since he got it rather loudly an inch away from his ear by a man lying on top of him, I think he'll remember next time.

I've found that, sometimes, taking something as seriously as the player does makes them realize how silly they're being.
