Opinion piece: My halfblock e2/mq2 vs my pneumag

So, today I played some woodsball and some speedball. I'll give a rundown of the markers:

1/2block body by noxx
e2 with 1.10
mq2
delrin bolt and sled by jcurt455
shocktech fgp reg
eclipse ram with qev's
aka 2liter hpr
killa detente

rtpro valve with level10 kit
level10 bolt
ult
ule centerfeed body
pneu'd intelliframe (i believe by rainman but it's secondhand)
palmer lpr

My take:
The mag was a blast to shoot. It got finnicky when there was about 900psi left in the tank. The trigger is obviously impossible to really short-stroke, and the level10 worked flawlessly...no breaks. I was using a freak barrel kit with the .984 shooting marballizer (i started off with a smaller bore, but as the day heated up, I switched it out). My likes are the obvious mech rof, it just can't be beat. I think that due to the high operating pressure, however, there was a bit of kick. It was still pretty easy to knock my opponents down. I did have to remove the barrel and force the bolt back at one point, because of some "bolt stick". I'm still not 100% what caused it or how to prevent it in the future.

The cocker trigger was set up to be amazing, and that gun shot fabulously. This is the first time I've shot with an mq2, and it's an entirely different world. I was very consistent, and I was able to hit quite a few people. When the pressure started to get low (700psi range) the marker would still fire, but the paint would wing in all sorts of odd directions. It was also a pain in the you know what to get the velocity working properly. Once it was, however, I had a fantastic game. The batteries in the trigger frame are a big deal, though...I was shooting like garbage when I had a battery in there that was allegedly 1/4 full. This gun was a blast to shoot. I used a j&j ceramic barrel, unsure of the bore, which shot even better than the freak. I hate to say it, but this electric gun will now be my main gun, and the mag will be the backup gun.

I did take out my brand new phoon as well, but I didn't have a reg on it...I tried playing with unregulated co2, which was a very bad idea. However, this gun, when it shot consistently at the chrono range, was a blast. It seemed to me to have the most predictable trajectory, and I rapid fired it without short-stroking the trigger once. Believe it or not, this gun also drew the most oohs and aahs. Once I get a stab on there, I'll mount the asa to the bottom of the grip and probably use hpa. I was told that phoons were designed for co2, but not in this carolina heat (I blew an o-ring trying to low-crawl through a sunny spot).

All in all, it was a good day. I've been working on building the mag and cocker for over 6 months now. It's taken a lot of headaches to get these things to function properly. Now that they do, however...well, what am I supposed to do now?! I have no guns to build. Eh, I'll figure something out...

Anyone play in NC?
