| KP3 Mod questions
ok, some of my questions have been answered either over the phone or in other threads, but i thought this might be the best place to get info...
i have a KP3 that i plan on sending to PPS for some major work... performance tune, ultra quickstrip, hurricane ASA, barrel porting (a la RTP Viper 3-hole), derlin pump, possibly a sight rail, and either plating or powdercoating... now the questions:
1) with the Hurricane ASA, will i still be able to use 12gs? will efficiency suffer? i plan on using a WGP pump changer or a 3.5oz;
2) it has the CA adapter on the lower tube now... with the addition of the hurricane ASA will PPS plug up that tube? any other use for it?
3) i'm still a little confused about wedgits and detents and such... is it possible to get autococker-style detents (are these like detents on the blazers)? and where would the detents be installed... would they go in front of the bolt to prevent roll-outs? its not like i'll be using a force-fed hopper;
4) powdercoating or zinc plated... i'm leaning towards powder coating, but will the pump stroke rub it off?
