Here's my favorite nacho dip recipe. I'm actually going to start marketing a version of this thru a good friend's new tamale catering business. It was a hit with the POG day people:
Hurtcow crack dip recipe:
2 cans chili (beans/no beans, you choose)
1 pint Tres Hermanas (local Sac Mexi restaurant) salsa, or any good salsa
1 block cream cheese
1 tub sour cream
1 large block shredded sharp cheddar
1 lb. cooked ground beef
1 large onion, chopped and cooked w/ aforementioned ground beef.
1 can diced green chiles
Ground black pepper and Lowrey's salt to taste
Mix it all up, heat it till everything's all melted and mixed. Dip away.
1 can refried beans
Couple o' squirts of liquid smoke
Couple o' squirts of Tapatio/Crystal/whatever hot sauce if it's not hot enough for you
Powdered cocaine, though it's totally unnecessary.
