so on my pre2k cocker, with the cocking rod in the cocked position, and the backblock all the way back... the bolt still doesn't entirely clear the feed hole.
I'm finding that to get the bolt to clear the entire feed hole i would have to pump it past where the hammer engage the sear. Is this the "right way"? or should I cut down the stock bolt a bit?
There's enough of the bolt to cut a bit off the front (resanding and smoothing out after), so that the bolt is still long enough to be in the "closed bolt" position with the backblock against the body.
has anyone tried this?
