It should be assumed the dude your tapping is going to shout "out" wicked loud. It's not so much a cheat as it is poor form. It's also why I don't tap unless the dudes are in a fire fight. Despite many peoples "war milsim reninactment" idea of the game it's paintball, and tossing that sort of variable into the mix is part of the game. Personally I wouldn't do it tell I'm a "decent distance" away to avoid bonus balls,
As for barrle tapping ridiculous amounts of people in night play I've done it/seen it done as well.
