| I recently bought two PMI 48/3000 tanks from Action Village. They worked fine.
Shortly after, I found a couple fiber-wrapped bottles (68/3000) for sale and bought those. Since they were just about out of Hydro, I sent them off to Crossfire for hydro and a regulator upgrade.
I then sold the PMI bottles, and now have the equivalent of two Crossfire 68/3000 tanks.
The 68ci tanks were the same size as the 48ci tanks, and lighter.
If you can find used out-of-hydro bottles, the Crossfire hydro-upgrade deal was $55. You should easily be able to find a bottle and do the upgrade for $100 or under. |
