Most fields I've worked for used the "soapy bucket, and garden hose" technique with Tippmanns. Dunk, spray and dry. Rarely would I take them apart, unless they also had a mechanical issue.

Clearly the Sp1, with electronics, could not use the same method. On a small scale, easier to clean, but maybe not on a large scale.
