Ah, a weakness to be exploited the next time we're swapping paint....

I tried one red dot that was setup up to look at the back of the feedneck. While I didn't suffer from wandering eye syndrome like Russ we were playing in some rather dim woods at the time and I found that only having one eye bringing in light affected me and my ability to "see in the dark". So now I'm more in favour of looking through to the target even to the point that I would offset a red dot sight to one side if using it on a vertical feed setup.
