| As to no use of .62 cal... originally for stock class format, you were allowed higher velocity than open format play... when open was running 280 fps stockclass was allowed 300 fps..seriously.
Because .62 was already allowed to run at higher speeds (who wants to sit down and figure out the new allowed speed for .62 so that they have the even advantage as those shooting .68 at 300 ) I think they just wanted to keep it simple and only allow .68 at up to 300 fps.
