Before I say this I want it to be clear, I truly love my PPS guns, and all the ones that I have owned and passed on.
That being said.
Spring of '07, I sent my Stroker, (which had been very lightly used, maintained, oiled and fondled for about 5 years, and my Blazer (which I had bought used, played with a ton and yet, maintained very well) to PPS for complete rebuilds. They had been leaking for a while, and I just figured it was time.
I sent them in and got them rebuilt and tuned, all of that.
They came back and worked perfectly.
I used them through that summer, and by the fall BOTH were leaking like a sieve from many different points.
I don't know if it is just me, but the seals seem to cause me nothing but trouble. I oil, I shoot and I clean each regularly, and yet they still fail....bah.
I has to be me, doesn't it?
(Gonna post this in the PPS forum as well....need to vent.)
