Now, I bought a used TechT L6 bolt because I wanted to test the fastest speed of my Ion and I didn't want to shear my LBM bolt (at 35 bps) so I bought aluminum for that purpose. I really like my Lucky bolt (over the TechT)...it's light, reduces felt recoil (not that it's much to begin with) to about zero and the delrin-like material is self-lubricating. You still need to dow33 it though (for the ORings) but it's a very nice bolt. Except for the frame, my Ion's completely tricked with Stage 5 (original body), Stage 4 MAC board, CP trigger & reg, Trinity on/off with bleed, Freak, Lucky detents, Lucky eyes, Clippard QEV and membrane pad. I have a VLocity to feed her.
If you get the LBM and the Clippard, you can set your dwell lower...to about 10-15 (total) milliseconds and still get good recharge and consistancy at the chrono. Shoot a case or 2 to break the bolt and qev in before lowering your dwell.
After your stock reg is broken in and you still don't like it, get a CP Long reg. That's what I use and I love it. Easier to maintain and adjust (and looks better). Here's a pic of mine...
