The way to tell if it has a performance tune is by seeing if there are globs of solder in between the tubes. Typically on a pristine stock Sheridan, the solder joints are very clean and straight.
Before a tune, solder is gobbed on so that when the ports are enlarged, the drill doesn't leave a hole between the top and lower tube. Check to see if there are unsightly gobs of solder there. Then you'll know if a performance tune was actually done. Thanks in advance FWaGun
