I'm in the process of doing it now. I measured the entire part of the bolt that was internal when the marker shoots (not that nub at the back) and to the bottom of a regular paintball right on the edge of it (since you pump the marker forward after pumping it back to complete the process). It came out to about 3 inches, so I'm going in about 3 and 1/8 of an inch. That way, the bolt won't hit it, the ball won't quick hit it, but the ball won't have much space to move at all within there. I have the body laying on its side and am making two marks, one on the left and one on the right (or, since I currently have it laying, one on the top and one on the bottom). I'm re-applying a coat every 30 minutes or so, I'll probably do it 4 times.
