Between the hours spent deliberating, political hacks meeting for luncheons and golf rounds to "discuss" it, and the thousands of pounds of paper used for drafting, revising, publishing, etc.....I wonder what the true cost was to the taxpayers for this useless piece of legislation that plays on the fears of the ignorant, and proclaims what "new" practices must happen...when in reality, they already are.
Gee, imagine that...the peasants already thought for themselves...
