Cheaper than dirt usually carries it. I personally favor the XDm over the Glock. Like others I can't stand the grip angle. I tend to shoot low with the Glocks, they just don't point naturally for me.
The XDm is pretty much just an improved version of the XD. You have increased capacity without much of a difference in the size of the grip, a match barrel, and 3 built in safeties. If they had it in .45 at the time I may have picked it up instead, but I feel the .40 is a good compromise between power and capacity.
I prefer the .40 over the 9mm. Purely personal preference, I use Federal ammo for target shooting and Speer is loaded up for home defense. I got a great deal too, I bought it the week after Christmas for $580 which was a little more than $100 cheaper than the lowest internet price I could find and SA was offering a special promo for 2 additional mags and a mag holder for free if purchased before Jan 15th.
So I spent less than $600 and also got more capacity out of the deal. Sure I don't need 65 shots at the ready, but it's nice to have the option. I also like to rotate my mags though so it allows me to keep 2 loaded at all times.
Overall you can't go wrong, it boils down to what you're most comfortable with. I won't knock on either pistol. They are both exceptional pieces and they both shoot better than I do.
