The "Library" is located on your hard drive at the base level with the application and system folders. ie the mac file path would be kinda like macintosh hard drive/library/quicktime

Are you using lepoard? Have you tried searching for it? (the Question mark on the top right of your screen)

Dont worry mate i have done MSCE (Microsoft certification) and still spent 5 hours trying to figure out how to network two macs

only to have my girlfriend come home and do it in 1 min (not exactly a computer fiend)
