Micromag Pressure

Just got a micromag today (my first mag, woot!), wondering if I should get a low pressure or high pressure HPA tank to go along with it. What pressure is best?

Thanks!

I use a ninja 50 4500. The pressure is adjustable with shims, so it'll meet all your needs. It's a quality reg at a excellent price.

High pressure is best for a mag

**eh, still not quite right**

"almost required"?

I think the worst you can do is those 600 psi bottles. They will work some of the time, making you wonder what the problem is, instead of just not working like a 400 psi bottle.

get a flatline and run it the way Tom designed it

My flatline fed Longbow RTs like a burst seared AR-15 and I can tweak it into FA

Awesome, good to know! Thanks everyone! All I have right now is a Ninja 13/3000, high output reg. How many shots do you think I can get from my micromag from the 13ci? I like the idea of a small hopper and small tank on the mag.

I've often considered a similar setup for pistol/blaster play, but then I remember that I don't like playing with pistols in big games.

The usual rule for mags is 10 shots/cu in. at 3k, but the smaller tanks start giving up shots because of the minimum pressure in the tank to fire is a larger portion of the capacity. 130 shots should be about the max, but you should get something less (110?) iirc.

If you have a level 10 bolt, don't dry fire often; it will suck your tank down very fast.

Should be around 200 +/- 30 (please correct me if I'm wrong). They like a high input, but really don't use that much.
