Bye bye Macro, Hello SS braid!

Well I decided to say goodbye to an old saftey hazard named

Macroline.

After talking with an pneumatics/hydraulics specialists AKA My Mom's boyfriend, the macro fitting and line I was using were rated for 300psi, I was running 800psi, and at a 4:1 saftey factor(or burst pressure) I was still pushing it. So, now I am running SS hose rated for 3000 psi WP, High flow QD's rated for 2700psi WP, I do not have to worry, and I have already noticed a differnce in air flow and my mag Appreciates it!

If anyone is interested in a similar setup, LMK... it is a bit on the pricey side, but hell, what are your eyes/face worth?

And hell, if I add some brass accents, it will look bad *** too!

Looks good! I make it a rule that all of my guns either run SS, or have no external air lines.

You can buy stainless and nickel fittings to match your line...

You can also use black heat shrink to cover everything up and match the body.

nylon 12 stil has a burst of 1250-1400 depending on ID of tubing.

but i too like the SS lines, never have to worry about macro leaks.

Meh, I have rarely had a macro leak, so I don't care as much I suppose. Whatever is convenient works for me unless it is something special (I go through AKA whore markers like the rest of MCB lol)

Would you really trade back a beer for a used rubber?
