ULT trigger question/discussion

i just picked up a new ult trigger on the cheap, but all i have are classics and emag valves. does anybody have any experience using one of these on an emag valve? should i wait for an x?

Emag valve on an emag lower or emag valve on a mech mag? It will work with emag valve on an mech mag, but not an emag valve on an emag lower.

Should work fine. Retro, Emag, EmagX and Xvalves are all the same.

If it fits of course. Iirc they don't fit most retro's and some emag valves. They work pretty well with classic valves, just requires some tweaking. And most x-valves usually come with the ult it was 11$ upgrade a marker from the factory

Note: ULT does not work in *SOME* steel bodied valves.

The way to check is to pull out the on/off on your emag valve and check the area it seats on inside the valve. If the seat is flat, then you're good. if it's stepped, then you can't / shouldn't use it without valve modifications.

I had my emag valve setup with ult and 6 shims. No problems.

ok, got the ult installed, but sometimes when i air it up, it will fire one shot. it fires very well, except when i try to "walk" it, it short strokes easily. is that normal?

Hold the trigger when you gas up. This will prevent the shot.

Although the ULT makes the trigger near-walkable, it isn't electro-simple. You still need full pull and release. It takes some practice. Give it time.
