Ok... Xmod will clear the screen on the first trigger pull. This is normal. If you scroll through the options, you will come to one that says ACE and TRG. When you pull the trigger the TRG *should* have a solid block appear next to it. This notes that the trigger is being pulled. It is useful for making sure the trigger pull is being recognized by the board. Try that and post the results. I suspect that the ACE has been turned on, and is making it so the marker will not fire, but we will get to that in a bit. Ty

Screen goes out after the first trigger pull on Xmod.. That's normal. It saves on battery drain. Sounds to me the battery is a tad weak. Charge it before use. Rechargable batteries like in the E/Xmag loose charge over time... Even within a week it could have dropped to less than is needed to fire the marker. It's normal and you should not worry about it too much. Charge before you use, and if the problem reoccurs during play, it might be possible that the battery is on it's last legs... You can buy a replacement from KC on automags.org. Has more umph than the original battery and works great. I've had to replace a few of those batteries on a few guns of mine, and they are great replacement packs. Just make sure you charge the night or morning before going out to play.

Ok... the trigger magnet is adjusted in a way that will allow the marker to fire, and the HES is working. <snip> Removed because Silver already answered the questions </snip> The final thing to try is to degas the marker and listen when you pull the trigger. you should hear a click when the solenoid is pulled down. I usually do this with the grips off to make it easy to reset the solenoid and hear it close. I agree with Fixel... try charging the battery again. The NiMh batteries slowly discharge over time, and they also lose capacity over time. Ty

If the solenoid is clicking, then everything electro mechanically sounds like it is working. Have you checked the length of the trigger rod and solenoid rod? Make sure they do not move easily, as that will cause them to "self adjust". Have you oiled the valve recently? How does your input pressure look? Ty

Hmmmm... You wouldn't happen to live any where near Baltimore MD? Seriously... This is starting to look like a solenoid problem. Take of the grip panel on the LED display side. Degas the marker. Use something convenient, like an allen key, to push the solenoid's plunger up toward the valve. Then pull the trigger and see if the plunger is pulled in. It should produce an audible click. If that works, then see how much force is being generated by the solenoid by placing something like an allen key in the way of the plunger moving and feel how much force is generated. It should be fairly large. Ty
