help a noob new to mags

so i just picked up a 68 classic mag with a level 7 valve and a few other ups i was wondering how to turn it into a pump can anyone help?

You basically need to mill a channel into the rail for the pump rod, that's the hardest part.

Well...you could just go out and find a Pump Milled Rail and Body. Then all you would need is a basic mag pump kit...or if you could get an appropriate wave spring and a Phantom pump handle that fits your barrel+rod of appropriate length to bend to shape...

There's was a guy on AO selling some pump kits, but look to spend $125 to $150 generally. It's usually cheaper and easier to find one already made and ready to go.

He may or may not have any left its worth asking though.

Kits generally run for $130ish pump milled bodies are real easy to find, rails not so much. You can probably find a used pumpmag on here for $300-400 if you want to go the easy route.
