I know rainman makes a kit using ccm parts, but the last i heard he wasnt doing another run of them anytime soon.

Another option is a kit from Jay8541 on automags.org

I went with jay's kit cause rainman wasnt taking any work at the time of purchase.

He does 3 different type Ribbed(what i have) Slotted, and plain smooth

Luke. There's no cad for the rod. I have a few pics of my rod for a AM/MM rail if you want them.

What was cougar referring to?

I can get most of the basic shape specs from the rail milling cad, but I would be missing the info for the ends and the over all length.
I have thought about making a “press jig” for these for a few years now.

The bend at the pump handle is a straight 90*. As for the bend that hits the bolt. It all depends on who did the milling on the rail. I have a few different rails and each one has a different pitch for the rod to ride up on and hit the bolt. That part is all tweak-able.

This is one I did myself for one of Jays kits but you can make it shorter or longer depending on how short or long you want the pump stroke. As you know Jays kits weren't all made to "AGD spec" so tweaking is def needed for his stuff.

Can you do me one more favor?
Can you show me a picture with the rod installed without the body (laying in the pump slot and attached to the pump handle.)

I’m just trying to get an idea of where it sits before it cocked.

It should sit inside the grove and unexposed so the bolt doesn't hit it. Once you pump it, it rides up on the back milled "ramp" and strikes the bolt. I'll get a pic tomorrow. I'm out and about ATM and won't be home till late tonight.
