Id like to mount a cci stock class feed on my soon to be pump mag. Is there enough meat on the body to drill and tap a hole to mount the feed? Doesnt look like there would be enough. My other option is having a Stainless Steel Weld Nut welded to the body once I remove the feedneck.

you could just use a threaded insert like CCI uses.

a raised weldnut would look good if done right. then counter bore the bottom side of the hole on the feed. great idea, post pics when its done!

Definatly not enough thickness to do any threading without the possibilty of it either pulling out or worse the screw sticking into the body & tearing up the bolt. Quote:
That is exactly what I did When I built mine a couple years ago. Although I just used a regular nut. | |

You really dont want to know...Alright I would say about 6-8. With its current valve. Shot count right now makes the gun almost worthless since you cant even fire what the gun has loaded without having to change 12 grams. Im using microline to try to keep unnneded volume to a minimum. I now have a old Lvl 5 valve to devolumize to try to get better shoot count. Just havent had time. |

WOW only 6-8? There was a post on AO about someone getting almost 30 shots off a 12g. Automags.Org Online Forums - 30 Shots from a classic valve w/ a 12G http://automags.org/forums/showthrea...=pump+mag+gram

DOH! You guys reminded me; I bought some stuff to play with while I was out of town! It's like the UPS truck came and went, and I didn't even notice!
